NASCAR Winston Cup Racing

NASCAR Winston Cup Racing is probably the most popular motor sport in the United States.  NASCAR stands for National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing.  The cars must use the same template as factory cars, with the exception of rear spoiler and front air dam.  Each engine has a maximum 358 cubic inches -- whether it's a Ford or GM engine, with only two valves per cylinder.  The car must weigh a minimum of 3,400 pounds.  The minimum required roof height is 51 inches.  Most of the racing is done on oval or tri-oval asphalt/concrete tracks with a few on road courses.  There are 20 tracks used for Winston Cup events in the US.
